On August 5, FORMS HK, Chainlink, Apex Group, CSpro, and Blockchain Valley@Cyberport launched the Tokenized Securities Framework, a joint infrastructure designed to standardize the issuance, distribution, and settlement of tokenized securities in Hong Kong. FORMS HK orchestrates infrastructure, Chainlink provides its cross-chain interoperability protocol and automated compliance engine, CSpro handles asset origination and distribution, while Apex Group delivers asset servicing with approximately $3.5 trillion in assets under administration. The framework adopts the ERC-3643 token standard, which embeds regulatory requirements directly into the token itself, building on the regulatory scaffolding established by the Securities and Futures Commission since 2023. The launch occurred without any reported live issuances or transaction volumes at this stage.
