Figure AI has signed a $3.5 billion compute deal with UK-based Nscale to deploy up to 100,000 NVIDIA Vera Rubin GPUs to train its Helix AI models powering humanoid robots. The partnership is expected to scale beyond $6 billion over time, with deployments slated to begin in the second half of 2027 in Barstow, Texas. Figure, founded by Brett Adcock, raised over $1 billion in a Series C round in September 2025, reaching a $39 billion post-money valuation. Nscale, founded in 2024, has already secured contracts with major hyperscale companies including Microsoft and plans to invest strategically in Figure as part of the arrangement.
